Developed on two floors, this 228 square metre property is composed of two separate flats, of 115 square metres and 113 square metres respectively, with independent access overlooking the beautiful Monterosso al Mare, the first of the Cinque Terre that can be reached from the villa in ten minutes on foot.
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful terraced garden planted with typical Ligurian flowers and fruit trees and from which there is a breathtaking view over the village to the horizon, thanks to its excellent exposure.
The interior is composed as follows: access from the private road through a gate that opens onto the car park and the staircase leading to the garden in front of the property.
From the garden there is direct access to the ground floor where the first flat is located, consisting of a kitchen, living area with living room and working fireplace, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
On the first floor, reached by a flight of steps directly from the garden, is the second flat with an entrance to a living area with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The living area also gives access to the beautiful terrace with a view.
The property is completed by a 2500 m2 plot of land, a car park within the property and a second car park along the road leading to the village, where a 13,000 L water tank is located.
The property has boiler heating for the first floor while the ground floor does not.
The Cinque Terre are one of the most beautiful Mediterranean areas in Liguria. Monterosso, the first and largest of the Cinque Terre was born, together with Vernazza, before the others: Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The five villages, developed along a 10 km stretch of coastline, are characterised by typical Ligurian streets called 'caruggi', brightly coloured houses and historical monuments. The landscape characterising the area is made up of dry stone walls on which paths, vegetable gardens and vineyards have been built thanks to the excellent exposure of the sunny promontory sheltered from the north winds. Since the coastline is particularly steep and rocky, and full of bays and coves, the beaches are not very numerous, but all are exceptionally charming and different. The largest of these is precisely that of Monterosso.
The Cinque Terre have been included in the national natural park since 1999 and, at the same time as the park, the natural marine protected area was established.
