Set in a dominant and panoramic position, in the most beautiful valley of the Valdinievole, above the renowned centre of Mounsummano Terme, it is possible to enjoy from all the rooms and from the garden of the villa a fantastic view that sweeps over six Tuscan provinces, as far as Abetone and the towers of San Gimignano.
The total area of the residence is 192 square metres on two levels.
On the ground floor is the main entrance, the living and dining room with kitchen opening onto the garden, the laundry room with service bathroom and two bedrooms with en suite bathroom, with arches framing a breathtaking panorama and a storage room with separate entrance. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with en suite bathroom, a hallway and master bedroom with wardrobe and en suite bathroom. The stone and beamed finishes combine local tradition with contemporary technical equipment.
Completing the property is a splendid fenced-in park of 1,300 square metres divided into functional areas: a stone slab with a gazebo near the villa, ideal for al fresco dinners and breakfasts; relaxation areas on several levels paved with wooden slats and equipped with jacuzzi, swimming pool and green areas protected by dry-stone walls from which to enjoy a unique view.
A strategic road site, in a dominant position over the Valdinievole, the Monsummano hill was fortified at least as early as the 11th century with a defensive system that grew and expanded over time to include the entire hilltop in the late Middle Ages. Monsummano is known for its precious thermal springs, fed by warm waters that allow beneficial and relaxing baths. The special feature that distinguishes this place of relaxation is the Grotta Giusti, an underground gallery housed in a centuries-old park, defined by Giuseppe Verdi as the eighth wonder of the world. Much loved by the Medici, Monsummano was a favourite place for their hunting parties and the patrician residences we still see today date back to that period. Climbing up here is a must if you want to admire a panorama that embraces the entire valley.
Excellent road connections with the main urban centres: Montecatini Terme (5km; 10'); Pistoia (17km; 23'); Lucca (36km; 34'); Forte dei Marmi (64km; 52'); Florence (53km; 50') and with the main Tuscan airports: Pisa Galileo Galilei (63km; 46') - Florence Amerigo Vespucci (44km; 36').
