The masseria is located in the far corner of Italy, in the municipality of Patù, along the road leading to the sea, just 3 km away.
The Masseria in Salento dates back to 1760. The area where this masseria stands is Vereto, an ancient Messapian town. Vereto is an open-air museum. Masseria Campanelle in Salento has a covered surface area of 290 square metres and stands on 8,000 square metres of land, with the possibility of purchasing other adjacent land of about 6,000 square metres at a price of an additional 60,000 euro.
Also on the Masseria's land is a 60 square metre covered building for storage that can be used as a Guest House.
In this property it is possible to apply for permits and build a swimming pool.
Masseria Campanelle is a classic courtyard farmhouse, inside which were both the premises for housing livestock and the premises for the farmer and the processing of dairy products and the land.
The entrance to the masseria is characterised by a barrel vault. The other five large rooms and the largest room, which housed the cattle, had a roof with wooden beams, tiling and a mixture of straw mixed with lime. A large fireplace is still visible in one of the rooms. Along the wall of the room that housed the cattle, there are still the old mangers. In the land behind the walls of the masseria, there is a drinking trough carved into the natural rock.
In the old walls, there are the ancient Apari, hollowed tufa stones that housed bees for honey production.
The Masseria can be used as a private residence or become a charming structure for top-level tourism.
