Art Nouveau elements, such as the fine grit floors, the frescoes adorning the walls and the magnificent carved glass doors in the salons, contribute to the refined and luxurious atmosphere. The villa, however, stands out above all for its privileged location, which guarantees maximum privacy.
The property consists of a main villa of 1,200 sqm, meticulously restored by the current owners, and partially restored outbuildings, with a total area of approximately 800 sqm.
The main entrance opens onto a majestic garden leading to a large, bright foyer.
From here, there is access to a billiard room on the left, perfect for leisure moments, and a study on the opposite side, ideal for work or reading.
In the centre of the ground floor is the large living room, which is made particularly airy by a large glass door opening to the outside.
This room leads to a panoramic veranda, used as an additional living area, ideal for receiving guests or enjoying the tranquillity of the house.
Also on the ground floor we find a more intimate living room, a library, a spacious kitchen connected to a large pantry and a laundry room, all designed for functionality and comfort.
There are also three strategically placed bathrooms and a small private chapel, reflecting the historical character of the villa.
On the upper floor, the villa houses four bedrooms, each with a magnificent view of the surroundings and a private bathroom.
An elegant living room completes the floor. The more intimate second floor comprises three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a large wardrobe and a well-equipped gym.
In addition to the main villa, the estate includes several ancillary buildings: an outbuilding of approximately 600 square metres, divided into three independent flats of more than 120 square metres each, and two smaller houses, one of approximately 120 square metres and the other of 80 square metres, both well-kept and suitable as residences or work spaces.
The outbuildings have been restored with insulated roofs and new facades, while the interiors are to be finished.
The property is set in 6 hectares of flat land, despite its hilly position, and cultivated with olive trees, offering a perfect balance between nature and comfort.
Lucca is rich in luxury properties and buildings of great historical prestige, and has always kept intact many of the typical characteristics of ancient times: the amphitheatre, the forum, the Romanesque churches. Occupied by the Goths and then the Byzantines, Lucca then became one of the most important capitals of the Longobard kingdom. Over the years, various rulers succeeded one another; what is certain is that Lucca was one of the most important cities of the Italian Middle Ages, and this grandeur and magnificence is still its own today.
