Leggi di piùIn Como, in the north-east corner of the walled city, surrounded by the cathedral and the wonderful shores of the lake, stands this historic palace dating back to the 17th century and now restored to its original splendour thanks to skilful conservative restoration work. Under the supervision of the Superintendence of Fine Arts, the palace has been restored in all its aspects, from the luxury finishes to the precious period details such as frescoes, sculptures, coffered ceilings with gold decorations and authentic fireplaces.
The interior reflects the style of the era while blending with modernity and contemporary comforts.
Of varying sizes, the seven exclusive luxury flats masterfully combine history and the contemporary, with their elegance and refinement, reinterpreting their glorious past in a modern key.
Completing the structure are, on the ground floor, a large commercial space with offices and the heart of the palace, the papal residence, the majestic space of more than 500 square metres that, through the imperial staircase, characterised by unique details of inestimable historical value including frescoes by artists from all over the Christian world, coffered ceilings and authentic fireplaces, hosted Pope Innocent XI.
The courtyard can also be customised according to one's needs, including the possibility of using it as a car park.
It is a residence that, even today, retains its refined architecture, from the construction details to the decorations, from the pursuit of fine forms to the candid colours.
The prestigious palazzo is of great historical importance for the city of Como, whose social and symbolic value it underlines. A treasure rediscovered in a context of inestimable prestige.
